Simply Perlberg was created to locate, restore and catalog as many of Fred Perlbergs dresses as possible.  The vintage dress community is in need of a reliable  source for Perlberg dresses. It is our goal to become that source and provide a service for other collectors and dealers of these fabulous dresses.

The Business. . .

Our business was created because of 1 dress that was given to me 15 years ago as payment for helping an elderly lady clean out her attic.  It was the most amazing dress I had ever seen.

It was this Red 'Tulip' Dress  and I loved the way it fit my figure.  Years later, I started to buy/collect his dresses.  However, researching Fred Perlberg turned up little next to nothing.  Now, 15 years after that first dress and over 80 dresses more, there is still little about him and that is when and why Simply Perlberg was created.  

Maybe now, there will be a place to the answers to some questions:

• Who was Fred Perlberg and how many dresses did he design?
• Where was he from and how was he inspired?
• How much are his dresses worth?

 We feel his work should be admired and celebrated as well as preserved and cataloged.
